We were a party of 4 for my wife’s birthday. Our bartender Zoe made excellent cocktails. Our server who I forgot his name was very attentive. ( I’ll update this later ) Everything we tried on the menu was awesome. We did shareable appetizers, the heirloom tomatoes and empanadas. Since we’re were a party of 4 they added one. I got the cavatelli. My wife and her friend got the Hokkaido Scallops and her other friend got the Trout. We shared a bottle of Albariño. They have an extensive spirit menu. Ask for the book. My wife had an awesome birthday party. We will be back.

The experience at Customshop was everything you would hope they deliver and more. We had heard great things about this restaurant for years, and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. The flavors were outstanding and very well thought out. Each menu item was perfectly balanced and delivered in its own right. I think that some restaurants lose the plot when they aim to bring something unique to the table. The minds behind the menu at Customshop know how to beautifully balance unique and complex flavors and deliver a plate that all eaters will enjoy, and the most curious of eaters will really appreciate. Many menu items were delicate but substantial, elegant and wholesome. Every part of each bite was memorable and worth it for everyone to try. To eat, we got the: wagyu beef carpaccio, arctic char, octopus, empanadas, bucatini, ravioli, canestri, Hokkaido scallops, and Rohan duck breast. This was enough to fill up 4 people, and we all have sizable appetites. Drinks were great as well, many enjoyed wine but I found that ‘vodka pays the bills’ was an excellent palate cleansing sort of drink to nurse between courses. If you haven’t been to Customshop, find a reason to go and you will be glad you stopped in. I also have to shoutout Kyle Brown who was so very helpful in helping me organize this dinner. He is a gift to the industry!

I had a great experience at Customshop. I ordered the Hamachi, Berkshire Pork, Ravioli, and Flan, and everything was delicious. My favorites were definitely the Hamachi, the Ravioli, and the Flan. All three dishes were full of flavor and delicious. I also like that the menu changes regularly and that they use seasonal ingredients. Even the bathroom decor was beautiful and well designed.

Always impressive and delicious. Amazing space in a cool part of town, and perfectly attentive staff. The espresso martini is insanely good. Menu is sourced from local farms and rotates regularly. The chefs are extremely capable and creative without doing too much.

If you’re debating going to Customshop, go! Ambiance, drinks, and food were great! We sat at the bar which had great lighting and offered an intimate experience. Our bartender was awesome. She recommended drinks and food. Everything was so fresh and well crafted! Pictured are a skinny margarita, rockett fuel cocktail, empanadas (my favorite), duck, and the tagliatelle (also my favorite). Highly recommend for a date night or special occasion! One of our new favorites in Charlotte.
