This place is AMAZING. I never leave reviews but this place deserves a little of my time to leave a review. Jared was our server and he did an awesome job. I do have a gluten free diet, when I mentioned this to him he immediately knew what items on the menu were safe and unsafe (you would be surprised how many servers at different restaurants don’t know how to address a situation when a person is gluten free). The food was GREAT! We got the Well-Fed which is nice because it comes with 4 different meats. The jalapeño popper's were the best I ever had. The Mateo’s Taquitos are a must have if you come here. They were so tasty and crunchy. Definitely a good appetizer choice. I also ordered a Raspberry mojito (non alcoholic) and it was delicious. Not too sweet which is perfect for my taste.

Midwood Smokehouse has been the best restaurant I have visited in North Carolina so far. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the half rack of ribs with a side of mac & cheese, and both were delicious. The ribs also came with hush puppies on the side, and they were so delicious, ugh I wish I could keep eating this forever!! We also tried the “Chili the kid taco”, and everything was so good, truly finger licking good. The chicken taco came with rice and beans, and they were absolutely amazing and so flavorful, easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The flavors throughout the entire meal were rich and satisfying, and the portions were great. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and a must visit spot when in North Carolina.

More like 3.5 stars. My family and I went here for my BIL's bday. He had the ribs and said they were 6/10. I had a combo platter with 1/2 smoked chicken (not a ton of smokey flavor), brisket (8/10 pretty good), pulled pork (decent, but I have family in eastern NC, so I'm spoiled), burnt ends (10/10). The burnt ends were the star of the show. My wife and daughter both got the burnt ends and loved them as well. They were extremely flavorful, smokey, and juicy. Mac n cheese was bland, but the sweet potato fries were some of the best I've ever had, and the pulled pork nachos were amazing. I just felt kinda let down by the pulled pork and chicken. Everything else was pretty good. Atmosphere was good as far as visually speaking, but it was so hot in there. I was roasting. I would try it again, but not gonna go out of my way to try it again. I'll probably just stick with The Smoke Pit in Concord.

Amazing. If you are thinking about going- stop thinking and go. I had the St. Louis Style Pork Ribs, Collard Greens, Beans, and I added the Burnt Ends and the banna pudding- wow.. All of the food was award winning. Drew was a knowledgeable, friendly and on point server. Excellent work folks!

We had a fantastic meal at Midwood Smokehouse. This was some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, the ribs were so tender they fell right off the bone, and the chicken wings were absolutely delicious. The spicy margarita was outstanding and paired perfectly with the meal. A special shoutout to our server, Ciara, who was incredibly knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the menu and helping us choose what to order. Her friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend Midwood Smokehouse if you’re looking for outstanding BBQ, great drinks, and exceptional service!
