AI suggested Fin and Fino for a female traveling alone. Sat at the bar during the one-hour happy hour service. Ordered Furikake fries and Tuna Poke Bowl from bar menu. Website said 50% off Bar Menu but bill reflected only the fries as half off (reason for the four-stars food). I should have questioned it but didn’t notice until later. Quality of food was great. Fries are definitely shareable; maybe even for three. I could have shared the poke bowl as well but that is more my smaller appetite and eating a third of the fries. Cocktails were amazing! I opted to order from The Library of Magic for my first one. You got to order by the vibe of the cocktail rather than by ingredient. ‘Streets of Seville, Vespa, Hemingway sunsets’ So so tasty! For a dessert I chose Call of the Clam and had an original creation made. JLa (like Jlo but La) was the perfect mixologist/bartender interacting with patrons at the bar as well as mixing drinks for the servers. I wish I could remember her partners name, but they were both attentive and personable. A dynamic duo for sure making my hour and a half visit so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this establishment to those seeking quality cocktails and a seafood forward menu. And AI’s recommendation did not disappoint for a solo female diner.

We recently had an incredible dining experience at Fin & Fino in Charlotte! From the moment we walked into the beautiful, modern space, we knew we were in for a treat. We decided to go with "The Treatment," and it was the best decision we could have made. We literally turned our menus over to the server and let the kitchen take us on a "tasting tour." It was such a fun, social way to eat. We got to try a variety of off menu items and signature dishes, including a fresh poke bowl, delicious gambas (shrimp) with toasted bread, and a hearty lamb rigatoni. We even finished off with a massive slice of carrot cake. What makes "The Treatment" even better is that the restaurant donates $5 per guest to their current local charity partner. It’s rare to find a place where the food is this good and the mission is even better. To drink, I highly recommend the Aperol Spritz for something refreshing, or their Old Fashioned made with Woodford Reserve if you want something classic and bold. If you’re in Charlotte and looking for a "social seafood house" with amazing vibes and even better food, look no further. The more people you bring to do "The Treatment" with you, the more fun it is!
My husband and I made online reservations for a Thursday night date night at 6:30 with ease. We were welcomed and sat quickly. The front bar area was full and loud due to happy hour but we were sat in the bar for a more personal experience. Our server, Jimmy, was top notch. He gave the perfect amount of attention to detail and service without bombarding us. We ordered off the fancy cocktail menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the heavy pour. Following, we ordered 4 shareable plates, which was the perfect amount for 2 to feel satisfied, and not full, with room for the dessert. Tuna and salmon poke bowl**my favorite**, calamari, tuna crudo, and sauteed shrimp. We finished up with the chocolate fudge cake which was decadent and left me with my jaw on the floor. Overall a great date night spot or group dinner spot.
Edited to add (apologies) I did not realize that the entire menu is small plates - which explains the smaller servings! Went to Fin and Fino for the first time. Have to give a shout out to the staff - the one constant at all of Jon Dresslers locations are the people. They are a lot of fun, they love their food, they take pride in what they do and it shows! The people around us got the treatment, and I have to say it all looked amazing! There were no complaints whatsoever from anyone at the table. As one would imagine - there was a great deal of fresh raw seafood as well as cooked. No surprise, it was fresh and excellent! I got the roasted beets and the heart of ribeye. Both were wonderful - oh my goodness the beef was so tender and flavorful cooked perfectly. The beets, a personal taste? I wasn’t a fan of what might have been peppercorns on the beets? It just was too strong for me when I crunched down on two. I am a beet lover so just scraped them off - they were excellent. The calamari was really good, as was of course the shrimp cocktail and crab dip. Always amazing! The mussels in the pasta dish were minuscule and not alot of pasta - it was about the size of an appetizer to be honest. Now perhaps that is what it was meant to be but not enough to feed one person as a main dish. Still, very flavorful. I have to admit that Dresslers and Chapter 6 are still my favorites - hands-down, but you obviously cannot beat the freshness of the raw seafood and - The Treatment - was such a fun experience! All the seafood dishes were great! Some of the other appetizers looked wonderful - didn’t get a chance to try the mushroom sourdough toast, but it looked amazing, for me worth going back again. Clean inside, very busy and they have party rooms for anybody that would need one. Everyone was too full to have dessert, but as you know, or in case you didn’t, they are all handmade from Joans Bakery to all the Dresslers eateries!
Genuinely the best dining experience I've had in awhile. My Fiancee and I visited on a Monday during the oyster promotion (you put down your phone for the whole meal, and you get a dozen raw Atlantic oysters for free - amazing deal) and our server, Fynn, was an absolute gem. Funny, helpful, personable (and nice on the eyes...) The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and fairly priced but our server really made our evening! We got dinner, desserts, and shared a bottle of wine, and walked out of there for $60-75 each.
