Amazing first time experience here and we will be back! The atmosphere was wonderful, love the historical home and neighborhood it is in! Our waiter Jake was absolutely wonderful and just a delight to have! He was very knowledgeable and fun! The food was the best part obviously- as you can see we got everything! Moist and delicious for everything we got! So very wonderful to the pallet and we enjoyed trying new things! We can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful experience at 300 East tonight. The food was excellent across the board. The salmon was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the sesame-crusted tuna salad was fresh and delicious, and even the sandwiches were outstanding. Everything arrived well prepared and beautifully presented. What really made the evening special was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience. At one point, the music was a little louder than we preferred for conversation, and they were kind enough to lower the volume for us without hesitation. That small gesture made a big difference and showed how much they care about their guests. Great food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend 300 East to anyone looking for a great meal in Charlotte. 🍽️✨

Stopped into 300 East for a quick little “treat myself” moment while I had about 30 minutes to kill, and honestly… it did not disappoint ✨ I kept it simple with a glass of Moscato and the Ahi tuna rice starters—both were sooo good. The tuna had this light crisp, and the Moscato? Perfectly chilled, sweet, refreshing… exactly the vibe I was going for. The ambiance is super laid-back and relaxed, but still feels a little elevated. Lots of people were having casual working lunches, so it had that easy, come-as-you-are energy. I asked to sit outside when I walked in—hostess kept it pretty quick and to the point, but my server was super attentive and made sure I was taken care of. Even though I was just popping in, this definitely feels like a spot you come back to when you’ve got more time to hang out. The menu has a great variety, and the drink selection (especially the cocktails and wine) looked amazing—like, I’ll be back to explore that properly 👀 Overall, if you’re looking for something casual but a little more upscale, this is such a solid choice. Cute vibe, good food, great drinks… highly recommend 💖

300 East has a special place in our hearts from the days we lived near Charlotte. We never come to Charlotte without returning there for a meal, and are never disappointed. It's reliably good with always welcoming and often delightfully quirky wait staff. The food is steady, made with top-notch ingredients and care, and the old pub atmosphere, dark walls, cozy booths, quiet upstairs seating, are all so inviting. We enjoyed our cocktails and sandwiches last evening. One of us had the avocado, bacon and tomato and pronounced it excellent. Two of us had The Usual, chicken salad on a hoagie topped with cheddar cheese and asparagus and heated to be eaten as an open-faced sandwich. Couldn't have had a more delightful evening than our evening there. There's a reason 300 East endures year after year for decades and is consistently rated one of Charlotte's best places to eat.

Went there for a dinner date on a Sunday evening. Patio seating was comfortable and cute. Everything we ordered was excellent. Got baked marinated vermont goat cheese, baked french onion soup, the usual sandwich and the salmon burger. I'm not a huge salmon fan but I tried it and even that was surprisingly good. Everything came out really fast and our server was great.
